Hospitals are holdings, exclusive to DLC icon Reaper's Due.png The Reaper's Due DLC, which are used to increase disease resistance in a province, as well as decrease the chance of depopulation. Hospital 0.png Provinces without hospitals will be more vulnerable to diseases and therefore have less of a chance to prosper. Hospitals can provide their owner with several other resources as well such as piety, tech points, opinion modifiers, etc. They will also safeguard prosperity in a province by decreasing the chance of outbreaks of diseases to occur or spread to the province. Having a hospital in a province will also allow several hospital-related events to occur, such as allowing a Court Physician to improve their skills.
